Hakkımda (About me)

I was born in 1986. I graduated from Uludağ University / Foreign Language Education / ELT Department in 2008. I have been an English teacher for 12 years and worked in seven different public schools. I attended in a service training for Foreign teachers about the Glottodrama Method in Roma, Italy. I participated in a few E-twinning Projects before. Keeping in touch with my students and other countries feel me better and more productive. I am conscious about my social responsibilities. As a teacher my duty is to raise my students awareness and influence the people around me about social issues.

CODING WEEK

Students will use ice bags for coding. İt is a funny way to apply coding steps. By progressing in the directions in English (turn right-turn left- forward ), students arrive the final point. They will start from the same beginning point with a bean in a water full ice bag. They move the bean according to the directions. İn the last step all the students must reach the same point. We will check the last point in the web cams in the Distance Education.

Şu anda dünyada çok önemli olan susuzluk sorununa karşı dikkat çekmek istedik. Öğrencilerden evde su tasarrufu için neler yapabileceklerini düşünmelerini ve bu davranışı kayıt altına almak istedik. Uluslararası çalışarak ulaşabildiğimiz kişilerden kendi dillerinde okulumuzun sloganı olan ''Susuz Asla'' demelerini ve ardından sloganı Türkçe söylemelerini istedik.

Sonuç olarak küresel ısınma, iklim değişikliği ve yağışların azalmasına bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan kuraklık sorununa dikkat çekildi. Öğrenciler evlerinde dikkat etmesi gereken su tasarruflarını gözden geçirdiler. Ulusları bir çalışma yapıldı ve farklı dillerde SUSUZ ASLA dedik. Konuya dikkat çekmeye çalıştık ve sosyal medyada paylaştık.

Speaking Activity

Our students and teachers introduce themselves and say a slogan about being a human one by one. We develop the Speaking and Listening skills in common language ''English''. In Pandemic, we use the advantages of the technologies and remove the borders and make our students Social.

USING THE INTERNET SAFETLY

I send a folder about the risks and benefits of the internet. They read them in online and then we talked using the internet safetly in an online meeting with my students.

WORDART ÇALIŞMALARIMIZ

LEARNING APPROACHES

An Activity about Communication in Innovative Approach and
Global Citizenship with my students. The details are inside the presentation.

My students used tecnology actively during the distance education. We created lots of videos and they learned the topics by acting and using English in an active way.

We played funny games with my students. We used different Web 2.0 tools like Kahoot, Quizizz,Wordwall.. It is a funny way to learn new things and make new words knowledge permanent.

4 Nisan Sokak Hayvanları Günü'nde biz de dostlarımızı yalnız bırakmadık. 4th April World Stray Animals Day we feed our freinds in the streets and give them water. RESPECT THE ANIMALS!!
